December Daily 2023 - Day 5

Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2023 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post). 

Day 5 - my collection of ceramic houses from Crate & Barrel

I did a little switcharoo on the 5th!  My original foundation for the 5th was on the back side of the 4th.  Since I went a different direction for the 4th, I still had the 5th that I wanted to work with.  No problem!   Added washi along the right side of the 5th to cover up the holes, added it to the left side for balance & then punched new holes :)

The left side of the spread was the back side of the 4th.  It was pretty plain so I added some rub-ons to add a little color.  That's the beauty of rub-ons - they transfer so easily, without any borders, so it looks like they're printed on whatever you add them to!

I created what I like to call 'waterfalling dog doors' on the right side of the spread - a series of 3 cards layered, with hinges on the top to lift up.

Added photos of some of the houses in my collection, along with a little journaling.  Easy peasy!  

The 5th was super quick to create, thanks to my foundation page - that's the beauty of a project like this and getting the foundation pages done prior to December!
