Layle By Mail

Hi! I’m Layle (like Gayle with an L). Because of that explanation, I’m also frequently called Gayle 😂 And sometimes Sue… apparently easier to pronounce than my name when they’re yelling it at Starbucks 🤣
My hubby named Nick & I have been married 31 years, we have two adult boys named Jack & Sam, a cat named Reggie & a brand new daughter-in-law named Kat (not to be confused with the cat named Reggie 😂) We’re loving the empty-nester, free-range parenting life 😀
7 years ago, I turned my side hustle into my full-time hustle & now run Layle By Mail 📬- creating stamps, traveler’s notebooks, crafty tools & more and shipping them worldwide to spark creativity.
I’ve loved paper & stickers forever… living in Japan as a kid → Mrs. Grossman’s stickers at 10 → Filofax in college → Franklin Planner at AT&T → Traveler’s Notebooks for the last 10 years & stamps for the last 6 👍 Some things never change 😂
A few random things about me: • I have a sarcastic, dry sense of humor • I hate the cold ❄️ but live in Utah, where it gets cold… a lot • I like to tell stories (ask me what a “Layler” is 😉) • squirrels are my spirit animal! 🐿️ • I’m a list maker through & through ✅ always have been, always will be • I can’t sit still • I LOVE to travel ✈️ (got my first passport at 4) • I’m “whole-brained” - creative but I 💚 Excel • I’m a self-proclaimed ambivert - chatty until my social battery dies • I despise peas 🤢 • I LOVE a good sale 💸 • I really, really, reallllly dislike mean people • I use way too many exclamation points & overuse the word “fun”
And yes… if you’ve made it this far, you’ve just experienced a Layler; my stories go on & on & on 😂 Anyway… hi & welcome!
