Layle By Mail

Howdy!  My name is Layle Koncar - think Gayle, with an 'L' - and I love paper crafting!  Whether it's creating scrapbook layouts, mini books, planners, traveler's notebooks, bullet journals... you name it & I love it!

I started scrapbooking back in 1997 - more than 25 years ago! - when I was pregnant with our first son.  As I was struggling to balance a software career, a young family and traveling on the side to teach scrapbook classes, a woman reached out to me & asked why I wasn't traveling more to teach.  LONG story short - and if you know me, you know how much I love telling stories! - she suggested I start offering my project kits by mail.

And that's how 'Layle By Mail' was born!  :)

After more than 16 years working in the scrapbook industry for various manufacturers including Simple Stories, Basic Grey & Scenic Route and at the same time teaching, and offering kits by mail as a 'side hustle', 3 years ago I took my love for all things paper & planning and made a BIG leap to go out on my own & focus full time on growing my Layle By Mail business offering scrapbook & traveler's notebook project kits and fun accessories by mail - hooray!

Teaching for the last 18 years has given me the amazing opportunity to travel the world and make connections with other paper lovers that share the same passion for the hobby.

Besides traveler's notebooks, scrapbooking & planning, I love traveling, reading, shopping, list making, decorating, binging on Netflix, dieting (ok, not really; I threw that in there to see if you're still reading) and spending time with my husband.  We're recent empty nesters - aka parents of "free range children" - & having fun navigating this new phase of life!
