Waiting for You | Design Team: Nolana Lynch

Hi there, it's Nolana Lynch.  I am so very excited to be here with you sharing another  project for the Layle by Mail Design Team!

 

For this project, I did a double-page 6x8 layout. I began by creating a background with the In the Circle stamp and three distress oxides that matched the layout or the colour scheme I wanted to go with for this.

 

 

Following the background, I created a large title along the length of the page using the Poe Large Lowercase Alpha stamp and I created a flip-up photo with some additional background journaling for my story. I used the “Here’s the Story” stamp for the tab.

 

 

For the other side of the layout, I created a Library pocket using the die set and the Library card using thick 40-lb vellum, which I embossed with gold. I absolutely adore how this turned out!

 

 

I wrote a list of things we are currently waiting for on the library card and used the About Last Month and Here’s the Story stamp sets to create embellishments. I used a mix of gold embossing powder, Archival Ink, and Distress Oxide.
