Traveler's Notebook Insert Sizes Explained

One of the biggest questions I get asked when it comes to Traveler's Notebooks is what are the different size inserts and how do I know what I need?!

I put together the graphic below comparing the different Traveler's Notebook Inserts sizes, side by side.

I carry 4 different TN inserts on my website -

• Standard Wide - the starred size in the graphic & the size I use the majority of the time
• Standard
• A6
• Field Notes 

Both Standard Wide and Standard inserts fit in most Standard Traveler's Notebook covers; they fit in all of the Standard size covers I carry on my website.

A6 and Field Notes inserts fit in most A6 Traveler's Notebook covers; they fit in all of the A6 size covers I carry on my website.

In both cases I say 'most' because different companies may name their covers different things.  When shopping for Traveler's Notebook covers and inserts, it's always a good idea to ask specific sizing questions from whomever you are buying from, regardless of their naming convention.
