Toothless Smiles | Design Team: Tai Cortes

Hello my crafty friends!  Its Tai, from the LBM design team and I have a fun project to share with you.  I am working in a Heidi Swapp Storyline chapters insert for this project.  I have this insert to only document stories about my daughter's school year.  This is my fourth year doing this insert and documenting these stories.

I am using the 'Reggie' alpha from the recent release for my big bold title on the right side of the spread.

My daughter recently lost her front upper teeth... and now adorns a toothless smile.   She is the cutest thing ever without teeth.  However, the story is more important because unfortunately she had to have them extracted because those cute baby teeth were rotating in her gums, loose and would not come out naturally.  My brace daughter had both extracted on her visit to the dentist.

This was the first photo we took together, selfie style, after we left the dentist that day.  She had to miss a day of school.

I printed my photo in black and white at a 5x7 size so that i could pick a fun patterned paper from my stash to have it framed with.  I picked distress ink colors that matched the patterns colors.  I also used the 'Poe' alpha for a sub title underneath and the List Builder 'All the Things' stamp for the beginning of my title.  All three stamp sets worked perfectly to make my long title stand out.

My journaling was done on clear matte sticker paper and adhered directly onto the page.  I embellished my photo with a 'mini clip' die cut that i colored in pink to match.

An important story saved in my daughter's memories of 1st grade.
