Lorilei here today sharing a project in my Standard Wide TN using the new Cassette Tape Die!
I had to pay tribute to Dolly and the new Cassette Tape Stamp & Die came at the perfect time. I focused on the die for this page and used a glassine bag to cut a pocket using the die. It cuts so beautifully! I made a journal card to go inside the pocket using Layle’s Favorite/Current stamp set and a phrase from the Cassette Tape Stamp set.
To add to the context of my story I crafted a CD that I was referring to. I made a 4 inch circle shape in photoshop and clipped a photo of the CD to the shape. I made another circle for the back side with a list of the songs on the CD. It tucks perfectly into the super cute pocket and the glassine allows it to be seen!
A view of the back of the CD and my journaling. The pocket holds the items in place very well! I love how a new stamp set or die can inspire a story. Putting these pages together made me feel good and brought back so many pleasant memories!
