Sunshine TN Layout | Design Team: Junell Kruzel
Hello everyone! Junell here on the blog today! Spring in Ohio has not been pretty. It’s been cold, gray, and I have yet to see a flower pop from the ground, so to work on this Summery layout was a breath of fresh air!

I loved the paper with the rays of sun, so I found a summery photo of myself from a few years ago. I placed the paper at the top and placed the photo where the rays looked like they converged.

I get very excited when there’s a new alpha release and this was the month! I used the smaller Frankie Alpha to stamp the first part of the title and then the Destination Unknown Mini Alpha for the word “sunshine”.

I found several rub-ons and die cuts in the Winter/Spring Season Pass that worked perfectly for a summer layout and clustered them at the bottom of the photo to balance out all the color at the top of the page. I even used the period stamp from the Destination Unknown Mini Alpha as a sprinkle of confetti! (Thinking outside the box!)

I then created my list of things that “feel like sunshine” from my day in which this photo took place. I did not have room on my page for the entire 1-10 stamp on the By the Numbers Ledger Stamp, but I could shorten it easily. I took a post-it note and covered up the 8-10 numbers of the stamp and only inked up number 1-7, removed the post-it and stamped it down on the page. That’s an easy way to get the numbers that you need if it’s not ten. I typed up my list in Canva and printed it out on clear, matte sticker paper. I cut it apart and placed it where I wanted it.

I added some rub-ons to add more detail and finish it off. I love the Summery vibe this layout gives and cannot wait to see the sun in real life now!
