Sun-Kissed Memories
Hello my crafty friends! It’s Tai and I have a delightful Popsicle loving 12x12 scrapbook layout for your today.
This red white and blue layout used the recent Summer/Fall season pass collection. One of the 12 x12 patterned papers featured a repeat popsicle motif. I literally took the time and fussy cut out each and every one while listening to an audio book one evening. I always enjoy layouts like this that require a labor of love.
I understand that fussy cutting is not everyone’s enjoying crafting activity but the pay off is always well worth it. A classic wreath layout is always an effortless approach to support all this popsicles. I cut an 8 inch circle out of light blue card stock from my stash for the center, leaving it white could have been a nice design too.
When I was arranging the popsicles, I decided to have them all face, right side up. So they flip mid circle to remain facing right side up. This decision could go anyway you would like. For my title, I fussy cut out the word ‘Summer’ from a 4x6 cut apart card also available in the kit.
For my photos, I recently hosted my niece who is the same age as my daughter for a weekend. We enjoyed the pool, scooter rides, popsicles and laughs. Two photos from this day were selected and printed both at 3x4 size which fit perfectly into the space allotted with the circle. My final details were tiny word stickers from the season pass kit and some gold paint splatters.
