Summerween Reading | Design Team: Marsha Farris
Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and I'm sharing a project today using Layle's newly released stamp sets and the amazing Moonlit Manor collection!
When I saw this new collection, I thought it would be fun to use it in a different way—documenting my spooktacular summer reading!
To begin, I trimmed the spiderweb die cut from the Moonlit Manor Large Die Cuts in half so it would work with the design I had in mind. I added it to the top of the layout, and then created my title using a combination of Wordstrip Stickers, a trimmed die cut from the Die Cut Icons pack, and stamping with the Christi Alpha Stamp Set and pink and black inks. I love how the title turned out using this mix of products!
I selected more die cuts from the Die Cut Icons to embellish the page and added my book rating with the new Rate It! Stamp Set.
For the right side, I trimmed a spiderweb patterned paper from the Moonlit Manor Paper Pack to fit the page and added my 4x6 photo and typed journaling. I then embellished the page simply with a die cut and a wordstrip sticker layered on my photo.
