Summertime Reading Recap | Design Team: Junell Kruzel
Hello everyone! Junell here on the blog today! I had fun creating this layout using the In The Box Frames stamps and die set. There’s so many possibilities with these two items!

As soon as I saw the rectangular frame I knew it would be perfect ratio to have a book in the middle, so I used five of them, stamped and die-cut, to display my reading recap for the month.

I selected paper that matched the word “Summertime” from the cut-apart sheet for the left side. Then I played around with the arrangement of the frames and adhered them down. I used colored pencils to color in the scalloped edges to make the frames more unique. I also added the circle frames to house my star rating for each book and used the numbers from the Cooper Alpha set.

I stamped out my title under the word “Summertime” using the new Cooper Alpha. I took a half-inch strip of the rainbow paper to anchor the title and make sure it didn’t look like it was floating around. It gave it a summery look that I love.
I then added my journaling with the June banner at the top from the June Month by Month stamp set.

I added a few die cut flowers to make it even more summery and that completed it!
I’m happy with how the layout turned out! Let me know if you have any more questions about how I created this layout! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
