Summer Fun TN Layout | Design Team: Jessica Michaels
Hey everyone, Jessica here! This summer, my son Otto came up with his own bucket list and I knew I had to document it in a fun way — so I paired it with some camping photos capturing all his best facial expressions for a two-page travel notebook spread using the Layle by Mail Season Pass and June Release.
For the left side, I started with grid paper from Layle's shop, cut down to fit my travel notebook page protectors. I used the "By the Numbers" stamp set from the May 2026 release to build out the list structure, then filled in Otto's actual bucket list items using the Frankie Alpha Stamp Set. Next I added "things I'm looking forward to this SUMMER" from the Looking Forward stamp set (June 2026 release — quickly becoming one of my favorites because you can build so many titles and phrases with it!). I created an ombre effect on the word "summer" using two shades of blue ink, then stamped a grid design at the bottom with the Textures stamp set. Finished the page off with rub-on embellishments and die cuts from the Season Pass.
For the right side, I turned his camping photos into mini Polaroids and adhered them to the checkered background paper from the Season Pass kit. I layered in die cuts, rub-ons, and some of the cutest little animals from the Critters add-on die cuts to fill in the space. Once both pages were done, I slipped them into my travel notebook — and Otto's summer bucket list spread is complete!
Both pages came together in about 20 minutes total — I just love how quick and satisfying this little project is! The Season Pass and June Release is still available in the Layle by Mail shop, so head on over and grab all the goodies while you can!
