Summer Fun Cards | Design Team: Jeanne Jachna
Today I’m sharing four cards made with the latest Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 for Summer/Fall. The paper pack includes (12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers (and the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side!). The papers are a high quality matte finish, and the pack now includes a full sheet of monthly cut-apart cards in 3x4 & 4x6 sizes.
The three months covered in this Season Pass are July through September. You’ll find summer vibes and cool treats for July including sweet lemonade, ice pops, and of course a splash of patriotic red white and blue! August celebrates time outdoors with butterflies and sunshine! August celebrates the beginning of fall when we’re spending a little more time indoors with woodland critters, apples, and cozy elements like stacks of books and tea time. The kit is designed to help you capture the season’s most meaningful moments with ease and style. My cards today focus on July and August Summer vibes!

I like to use the 3x4” journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. They are usually a solid color which makes them perfect for layering over busy pattern papers. Some even have printed sentiments so all you need to do is add embellishments!
This time I made collage cards that combine lots of elements with the same theme of summer fun, or tea time, and a picnic scene. The die cut pack includes 84 different images to choose from so designs come together quick.
You’ll also find rub ons, a stamp set and wordstrip stickers that make creating even more fun! The kit has everything you need to make all of my cards. The only items I added are the card bases, solid cardstock matts, adhesives and gems from my stash.
These cards will be used to send smiles across the miles with Summer greetings and invites for a few get togethers for some outdoor fun!
