Stuffed Easter Pocket | Design Team: Tara Chaussee

Hi crafty people! Tara, with Secretbees Studio here with an adorable Easter project made with the brand new Layle By Mail Spring/Summer Season Pass kit!  This is the second Season Pass kit from Layle and it is full of more beautiful patterned papers and fun die cuts like these Easter themed ones!

I used both of the April patterned papers for this charming stuffed pocket. There are two holiday themed patterns and two pastel patterns which makes them even more versatile!

The first pocket is made with the pastel pink dotted pattern and I cut it to 6.5 inches in length and then scored it so the front section is 2.5 inches and the back is 4 inches. Both tops were trimmed with  scalloped edge scissors for cute detail. 

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut some egg, carrot and Peep bunny shapes from the other patterned papers and embellished them with the kits wash tape, die cuts and word stickers!

The front pocket holds a double egg and a small Peep and the second pocket is stuffed with two super cute carrots and one of the 3x4 journal cards!

The larger pocket is 8.5” in length and is again scored and folded so the smaller section is 2.75” and the larger section is 5.5”. I adhered the bottom of the larger section together to actually make the length 4.5”. The first section holds another embellished 3x4 journal card and the back sections holds a large Peep bunny that flips up and a large tag cut from more of the pretty patterned paper!

I adhered the shorter pocket onto the front of the longer pocket leaving a quarter inch border all around and this creates the four sections. All of the fronts of the sections are decorated with more of the Easter themed die-cuts, word stickers and even the stamps of the new Season Pass kit! There is even enough room in these little pockets to stuff some small Easter treats in!
