Stranger Things | Design Team: Junell Kruzel

Hello everyone! I’m hoping there are some Stranger Things fans out there because this is what my layout is all about this month! And Layle By Mail has some products that are perfect for telling this story, if you think outside the box!

Firstly, the snowfall paper in the Season Pass 2.0 kit reminded me of the floating flecks in the air in the Upside Down, so I had to use it! I apologize if you haven’t seen the show, because I will reference it a few times. I cut a two inch strip as the top border of my pages and a one inch strip for the bottom border.

I then used the Things To Do Stamp and Die bundle to create the tv/title for my page. It looked a little plain, so I used the Ink Splatter Stamp set to stamp some “blood” behind the tv. Again, if you’ve seen the show you’ll know why! There’s a bit of blood in this show.  I also typed up my text in Canva and printed it on Maco sticker paper and placed it in the middle of the page. I had a lot to say.

On the right hand side of the layout I had a bunch of pictures, screen shots of the movie poster, and tickets. I only had one picture of all of us in the theater together, so I thought what a great idea it would be to use the In The Pocket Diagonal Pocket Metal Die to create a pocket out of that photo! I print at home, so I was able to measure the size of the pocket, make sure my picture was a little bigger to account for the folded parts, and print it out, then die cut it out. Now I have a pocket to store all the other items I want to include.

In the Year In Review 2026 Titles  & Die Cuts pack, there was a little ticket in the perfect colors that I added to the bottom of the pocket. I used the Documenting the Details 6x8 Rub-Ons to get the S, T, and number 5 to add to the ticket to personalize it.

For placing inside the pocket, I created a tab piece with the date on it using the 2026 About Last Month Stamp set, attached my movie tickets to it with the tiny attacher and fussy cut out a big “blood” splatter using the Ink Splatter Stamp set. I corner rounded the top of each piece to mimic the rounded corners of the tv set.

I finished off my layout by adding more “blood” splatters to create a triangle of red to balance the layout and more rub-ons from the Documenting the Details Rub-On set for interest.

I had so much fun creating this layout and I encourage you to look at products “outside the box” to make them work for the story you want to tell! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
