Spring Pocket Page | Design Team: Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with a fun pocket page project that is simple but always adds the most fun details to any scrapbook or happy mail! This gorgeous one is brought to you by the  beautiful Layle By Mail Spring/Summer Season Pass Kit!  This spring page is full of pretty blooms and butterflies and lots of cheer!

I started with an acrylic pocket page with nine 3x4 pockets. Shaker elements in a pocket page are always so charming so I decided on a center placement for this page and then built the rest of my pockets around it! Journal cards are great pocket fillers because they are beautiful on their own, and you can always add elements on top of the page to make them really pop like I did here with the spectacular butterfly die-cuts!

I cut more of the pretty patterned papers from the kit to fill the rest of the pockets and then cut rosettes from the bold striped paper and mounted those right on top of the acrylic along with all of the other decorative die-cuts from the collection! For a bit more shine, I layered in tiny glimmers of silver glitter card stock and bright black sequins and even added in sweet ribbon and lace details to the border of the page!
