Spring Break | Design Team: Marsha Ferris

Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and I'm excited to share a new project with you today using Layle's stamps!

My son had spring break this past week, and I wanted to make a layout documenting the things he did during his break from school. We didn't travel this year, but his week was packed with fun adventures.

To begin the spread, I typed and printed a list of ten happenings onto white cardstock, leaving space at the top for my title. Next, I stamped the title spanning across both pages with the Reggie Alpha-Large Lower Case Solid stamp set, using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I love the bold title using this alpha stamp!

I chose three ink colors to use with the By the Numbers stamp set, and I applied the ink to the stamps so that the ink colors blended together. It's not perfect, but I love how it turned out!  Below the list, I added a stamped a label from the Tabs & Labels stamp set and a camera puffy sticker from my stash. Then, I used my roller date stamp to add the dates.

On the other side of the layout, I selected some photos from the week, printed them in 4x2 inch strips, and layered them on the page. I did a bit more stamping below the title with the Tabs & Labels and Here's the Story stamp sets. To finish, I added some puffy photo corner stickers to one of the photos for a little added interest and texture.

This was such a fun traveler's notebook spread to make using Layle By Mail stamps!
