She Shines So Bright | Design Team: Lorilei Murphy

Hello friends! Lorilei here today sharing a project I made using Layle’s super fun Library Pocket Metal Die! I am likely not the only one with a big stash of scrapbooking supplies that I would like to use up. I have quite a stack of 4x6 cards in my stash and I found that the Library Pocket Die fits perfectly on the card to make the front of a pocket!

I chose a card I liked and cut the die, I then cut off the bottom fold up strip (makes the bottom of the pocket) and turned it into a “belly band”. I adhered the two sides of the pocket to my background. This allowed me to slip a tag in and out of the band. I added a small foam square behind my butterfly to keep the tag from sliding all the way down through the band.

I added a title on my tag with one of my favourite alpha stamps - Out The Window in grey to co-ordinate with the butterfly.  Love how my page turned out and I love that I found a fun use for an old supply!
