Road Trip Mini Book | Design Team: Nicole Nowosad

I am happy to be back on the blog to share with you another creative team layout with you today featuring the Far and Wide Collection.

I thought it would be fun to make a simple minibook using this collection to have handy for last minute road trips! I cut some patterned paper and kraft cardstock and simply layered the items together and stitched a seam down the middle of the inside of the book to create the base.

You can make a book like this so easily by adding or removing paper to make it thinner or bulkier. I chose to keep mine pretty simple for a quick trip away, and that way, I could sew it up with my sewing machine too to keep it easy.

Once the book is together, the fun begins! I gathered some of my favorites from the Far and Wide collection, including stamps, die cut titles, words and phrases and paper too. You can get as creative as you want to embellish the inside pages.

I chose to add some simple white cardstock photo mats to have a resting place for my photos when it is time to add them, otherwise I would have likely gone too crazy with all the fun embellishments and stamps! I hope you are inspired to get creating something of your own using the Far and Wide collection!
