Pool Time | Design Team: Marsha Ferris
Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and I'm excited to share a project using Layle's new Postcards & Passports collection!
I love the colors and the fun travel icons in this collection and was excited to use it to create a traveler's notebook layout. I printed my photo to the size of a full page (5 x 8.25 inches) and printed a smaller square photo. I like the look of layered pictures on a layout! Next, I trimmed a postcard from one of the patterned papers, layered it behind my smaller photo, and embellished it with die cut elements from the Die Cut Icons along with a Wordstrip Sticker.

From there, I created a flip-up using one of the Postcards & Passports Washi Tapes. I typed my journaling, printed it on clear matte label sticker paper, and added it to my large photo. I then embellished with a die cut and added some stamping with the Postcards & Passports - Days stamp set and a roller date stamp from my stash.

On the other page of the spread, I used the Postcards & Passports - Say It stamp and the Murphy Alpha stamp sets for the title. I used the solid letters from the alpha stamp to fill in the word "pool" using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I had fun embellishing the page with the Die Cut Icons and a Wordstrip Sticker.

I love how this travel layout turned out using Layle's Postcards & Passports collection!
