Park Adventures | Design Team: Jessica Michaels

Hey everyone, Jessica here! Camping season means one thing for my 26 Parks in 2026 notebook - a backlog of pages waiting to get filled! Today I'm catching up on parks 10 and 11, both knocked out on a recent camping trip. I'm using the Layle by Mail Far and Wide collection along with the Travel Words Stamp & Die Bundle to give these pages that adventurous, outdoorsy feel, and I'm walking through exactly how I put it all together below.

Parks 10 and 11 are officially in the books for my 26 Parks in 2026 travel notebook, both finished during a recent camping trip. That's what I love about Layle's products - they travel just as well as I do!

I started with white cardstock backgrounds and my pre-printed photo collages and journaling (printed at home before we left), then cut Far and Wide patterned papers into border strips for the sides, securing everything with Scor-Tape. Photos went down first, and I built out from there.

For the date grid up top, I stamped the 2026 About Last Month set and add-on, filled it in with the Tali Numbers in a few different inks, and used Frankie Alpha for the park locations at the bottom. Since my "10" was going to sit over patterned paper, I stamped it onto white cardstock and fussy cut around it with a thin outline - kept it popping instead of getting lost in the pattern. From there I layered in rub-ons and die cuts from Far and Wide.

For my title on the right side, I grabbed the Explore stamp from the Travel Words Stamp & Die Bundle and stamped it in an ombre of two greens, added some hand doodling around it, and fussy cut it just like I did with the 10 - made for a fun title on my park 11 page!

I added a "this was fun" phrase from the same set, then stamped Explore More using the Far and Wide - Say It set in blue and yellow, second-generation stamping the blue for a softer, faded look. Popped in my pre-printed journaling and this spread was done! I've got a tutorial on my YouTube showing exactly how I print my journaling if you want to check that out.
