Norway TN Layout | Design Team: Shellye McDaniel
This time last year we cruised Norway…what a trip! Shellye McDaniel here with you today to share my favorite stop in a double-pager: Haugesund, Norway.

Along with the Navy Traveler’s Notebook, I also incorporated the Far and Wide 12X12 Big Bundle, In the Pocket-Diagonal Metal Die, Destination Unknown Mini Stamp Set, and the In the Box Quotes Metal Dies

To the insert pages I added coordinating cardstock from my stash and corner rounded the edges to match. I prepared both sides to mirror one another, so the striped and destination stamped papers were attached and washi tape added where the two papers joined.

Next, I die cut the pocket from the yellow-airplane paper and then attached to the bottom left side. The letters to spell out “NORWAY” was stamped to the left of the pocket. I cut apart a 4X6 card and then topped with some journaling that was typed up. A couple of the cute die-cut pieces were clustered together, then I clipped on some memorabilia from our stop and tucked into the pocket.

To the right side of the spread I wanted to keep the original size of the photos, but also wanted to use three photos! I created a hinged page by cutting two pieces of cardstock the same size, adding two strips of paper between the two to make hinges. Next I matted the two pictures for the inside and attached.

The photo for the front was added after I made the “turn-tab” from a trimmed shipping tag that was embellished with a die-cut photograph and mat using the “In the Box Quotes Metal Die”. Here I also clustered together a couple of the die-cuts from the Far and Wide Collection.
I’m excited to continue adding pictures from this beloved trip to my TN!
Thank you for looking!
