Nature Walk Layout | Design Team: Junell Kruzel

Hello everyone! Junell here on the blog today! I wanted to create a layout that featured the Postage Builder Frames and Flowers stamp set along with the die. It felt so Spring-y to me and I am so ready to move on from winter!

I had an idea in my head where I wanted patterned paper on one side and then a column of stamps on the other to balance it out. I selected the paper that coordinated with my photos and adhered that down on the right side. After that I moved the photos around to find the arrangement I liked and also adhered those down.

I then stamped my title. I lined up the word “walk” on the top of the letter rather than the bottom because I knew I wanted to nestle a stamp right in that spot and it worked perfectly! I used Distress Oxide in the color Picked Raspberry. I also typed my journaling in Canva and printed on clear matte sticker paper.

Now onto the fun part! I stamped and die-cut out the postage stamps onto paper that coordinated with the paper on the right side. I made more than I actually used on the final layout so I could play around with arrangement. To get the green color I had to take the green and white striped paper from the Season Pass 2.0 kit, cut out the white stripes, and piece together the green to have a large enough green paper for the largest stamp die. I just used washi tape to hold it together on the back. I also used a craft knife to cut out the center part of the postage stamp. I just wanted the center to be white, not patterned paper. I spent some time arranging the postage stamps until I found a look I liked and then adhered them down. I took size, color, and shape into consideration when placing them, starting with the one I knew would go by the title.

I also placed two postage stamps to the right of the photos on the right to balance it all out. I added white cardstock to the back so the patterned paper would not show through. I then had fun selecting which flowers to place inside the postage stamps.

I am definitely in the Spring mood after creating this layout! I cannot wait to see how you all use this stamp set! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
