Nassau Bahamas | Design Team: Tai Cortez

Hello my crafty friends!  Its Tai and I have another double page layout in my 6x8 album.   I enjoy documenting stories about my family in this size because its manageable and I am able to stay current.

My husband and I recently took a 3 day cruise with 18 friends to celebrate a friends’ 40th birthday.  We had a great time and I have plenty of photos to scrapbook soon.

Layle has a new stamp release for January 2025 and used the 2025 About Last Month and the Poe Alpha stamp set for my journaling card.  I am also using the Library Card stamp and die cut set. It creates the perfect size journaling card for any project.

I selected 2 patterned papers that complimented each other with corals, pinks and mint colors for the base of my double page layout.  My photos had a lot of blues and thought the contrast against the coral.  I printed 6 3x4 photos of our time in the Bahamas.  I turned one photo into a flip up to hold the additional 2 photos underneath.

I was able to use the Libray Pocket Metal Dies to cut out the perfect pocket for my library card that I stamped using the Library Card Stamp Set and adhered it in the middle of the page.  I stamped out the word ‘Bahamas’ onto the Library Card with the Poe Alpha stamp set and stamped out the date we were gone on the pocket using the 2025 About Last Month stamp set

I will be using this library card metal die often in my crafting, its simply a great size.  To finish off my layout, I added a few acetate hearts and it was complete.

I hope you add a few of these stamps and die sets to your next purchase :)

Happy crafting.
