My Coffee Needs Coffee Layout | Design Team: Junell Kruzel
Hello all! Junell here on the blog today and I really wanted to play with the new Christi Alpha stamp set, so that’s what I did!
This photo was the perfect opportunity to use the Rate It stamp set, because no one likes spilled coffee!
I cut the floral paper to size and outlined the white middle portion and adhered it down.
Usually, my journaling comes last, but for this project I started with it so I could cut it apart and then play around with the placement of the journaling, the stamps, and the die cuts from the Season Pass Fall Critters pack. Once I had the arrangement how I liked it , I stuck it all down.
Then the fun part, my coffee spill was the perfect place to insert my long, stamped title, “even my coffee needs coffee”. I used matte photo paper for the photo so the ink would not smear and I used the new Christi Alpha stamp, combining both the upper and lower cases. I used Distress Oxide in the color Rusty Hinge. I purposely did not line the letters up to give that “I need my coffee” feel to it.
I’m pretty happy with how this turned out, and that I had an excuse to make another cup of coffee! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
