Movies To See | Design Team: Marsha Farris
Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and I'm excited to share a layout using Layle's fantastic stamps and metal dies paired with the Dear December collection!
For this spread in my December album, I documented some of the holiday movies we are excited to watch this year. I used a green plaid patterned paper from the Dear December collection as my background and trimmed a cut apart card from the same collection to add the title. The Things To Do stamp set had the perfect sentiment for my page- "Movies To See." I stamped it in black ink, die cut the image with the coordinating metal die, and used colored pencils to add a bit of color to the popcorn and bucket. I just love how it turned out! It paired perfectly with the "Holly Jolly" die cut from the Dear December Die Cut Words.
For the other side of the spread, I printed movie posters I found online and arranged them on the page, leaving space along the right edge for the fun star embellishments. I used the Stars Metal Dies and patterned papers from the collection to cut out a variety of stars for the page. Then, I arranged them and added stamped stars using the Dear December Mini Icons stamp set. I also added some hand-drawn dots with a black pen for additional interest.
I love how this festive spread turned out using Layle's fabulous products!
