Moments of Joy | Design Team: Suzanna Lee
Hi Squirrels! Suzanna here today to share with you a Moments of Joy, Fall/Autumn edition in my Random, All About Me TN. I am not (yet) a lister but I do use the smaller format of a travelers notebook to document random moments in my life. Big and small but mostly small.

For this entry the title of the spread is on the right hand side and is made up of mostly stamping. Direct to paper stamping. I used a combination of fonts, Tali and Reggie, for variety and visual interest.

Simply stamping a phrase, overlapping the O and Y in joy creates another layer for depth and even more interest.

The use of the "sparkles" in the Glimmers set added a third prominent color to the title and highlights the title. Simple. Or, as I prefer to say, understated. Ideally, this would have opened the spread and been on the lefthand side of the spread. Which, it turns out would have been okay but as I had journaling on the back of the lefthand page, I didn't want to take that chance. With the following pages being blank, I had control and knew I could use either a full page spread or a full page of patterned paper to cover up the bleed. You just never know when the ink is going to cooperate or not.
The left hand page contains my documenting of three current moments of joy, each in a scalloped frame. I kept it simple, again. Wanting to reflect the simple moments in the way I documented those moments. Just a simple sticker from the Mintay collection I used and a stamped phrase, from the Glimmer stamps.

I'm not one to document the simple moments, or anything without a single photo at the very least, but documenting in my Gratitude mini has really made me more appreciative of those simple moments. So these moments documented for the end of October, as reflections of things I wrote in my journal. I hope you are inspired to think about the simple joys of life!
