Lovely Spring Days | Design Team: Tai Cortes

Hello my crafty friends!  Its Tai.

Layle recently released her second installment of the Season Pass for the spring season - Season Pass Spring/Summer.

The kit includes wonderful papers in 12x12, 8x10 and 6x8.  The kit includes pocket cards, ephemera, a coordinating stamp set, 3 washi rolls, 2 TN inserts and a sheet of tiny phrase stickers.  The collection highlights the joys of the spring/summer season with bunny and beach/pool icons.  The colors range from pastels to some bright bold options too.  I have so many ideas on how to play with this kit in the upcoming projects.  I decided to make a double page 6x8 layout with a full page photo on one side.  

For my photo, it needed embellishments, so I first started by fussy cutting out large butterflies from the 12x12 paper in the kit.  I selected two large ones to decorate my photo near the negative space areas.  They fit perfectly into the space.  I also used the stamp again on the photo using StazOn Ink.  A few butterflies and tiny flowers scattered around the photo.  I enjoy showing off all the elements in a kit on one project.  It helps to give you ideas on how to use your kit too.  

To start, I loved cutting out a pocket cards and creating a few of my own.   ‘Lovely Spring Days’ I lightly stamped on it, I cut a 3x4 card out of the butterfly paper and also lightly stamped on it for added embellishments and then used the ledger paper for another 3x4 card and stamped ‘Spring Day’ onto it, this card holds my journaling.  The tiny phrase stickers were added for a bit more details to this double page 6x8 layout.
