Looking Forward To This Summer | Design Team: Marsha Farris

I always love Layle's fun "looking forward to" lists, and with summer quickly approaching, I wanted to document some of the things I'm excited about for this upcoming season.

To start off, I combined three stamp sets — Tabs & Labels, Currently 2, and This Is Us — to create my title. I then added cardstock stickers to complete the title and layered it on a striped green patterned paper from my stash.

From there, I selected three more patterned papers and stamped the numbers one through three using the By The Numbers - Allison stamp set and black ink. I used a 1 3/4-inch circle metal die to cut out the numbers, trimmed the edges of each circle, and lined them up against the edge of the page. I like the look of the trimmed circles, and this gave me a bit more space for my list.  

On the other side of the layout, I chose a dot patterned paper to use as a background, continuing the circle design from the previous page. I added a beach photo taken last summer and embellished it with stickers and die cuts. I also stamped a sentiment with the This Is Us stamp set for additional detail. 

I love how my "looking forward to" list turned out!   It's such a fun way to capture the excitement of the season using some of Layle's fabulous products!
