Let's Go Despite My Fear Layout | Design Team: Junell Kruzel

Hello everyone! Junell here on the blog today! Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets anxious and has relentless worry when it comes to travel! I’ve been to some great places, but had to work through some fear to get there and this is what this layout is about.

I started with my white base layer and ran a strip of the colorful washi along the bottom to ground the layout. I spent some time going through the Die Cut Titles pack to pick out an appropriate title and settled on Let’s Go. I used the Frankie Alpha to add a subtitle. I also loved that large map of the United States in the Die Cut Titles pack. It’s quite large so I placed it right underneath the title to balance the color at the bottom.

I typed out my journaling in Canva on clear, matte sticker paper and adhered that beneath the US map. I added a few more die cuts to complete the left side. There were a ton to choose from!

For the right side, I wanted a collage of some of the great places I’ve visited (despite my fear!) and also created that in Canva, adding the city and date I visited. I found a die cut in the Titles pack that said “travel more, worry less” which I thought was perfect for the message of my journaling, so I layered that right over my photo. I then add a rub-on that says Just Go that I thought worked well too.

For someone who doesn’t travel all that much, I was able to create a beautiful spread using the Far and Wide kit! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
