Lake Vacation Highlights | Design Team: Marsha Farris
Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and I'm sharing a project today using Layle's Far and Wide collection!
I enjoy making recap pages for our family vacations, and I knew I wanted to make a layout documenting a lake trip from a few years ago.
I thought the circle "Day 1, 2, and 3" die cut pieces from the Die Cut Words & Phrases pack would be perfect. I added the pieces to the page, added a rub-on from the Travel Rub-ons, and stamped some words from the Say It Stamp Set to begin each section. I then included my handwritten list of moments I wanted to remember from each day of the trip.
At the bottom of the page, I trimmed two strips of patterned paper from the Far & Wide paper pack and added them to the layout. I created my title using the Destination Unknown - Mini stamp set and blue ink, and combined it with a piece from the Die Cut Titles. I then created a fun little embellishment cluster with pieces from the Die Cut Icons and Die Cut Words & Phrases. These packs are full of so many fabulous die cuts!
To continue on the right side of the spread, I printed a photo to fit the page and also printed a photo strip of pictures I wanted to highlight from the trip. I added the photo strip along the edge and selected Word Strip stickers for each photo. A rub-on from the Travel Rub-ons was the perfect finishing touch for the spread.
This was such a fun vacation recap layout to make. I'm excited to see what you create using the amazing Far and Wide collection!
