January Month In Review | Design Team: Nikki Sher

Hello fellow Layle by Mail Friends!

It’s Nikki Sher back to share my January Month in Review layouts with you. I am so thrilled to be joining Layle’s trend with this idea. It is such a great way to not only stay organized, but quickly scrapbook and journal the past months highlights. And the Layle by Mail Monthly Calendar Insert is perfect for this!

At the end of December, I created my January Calendar by using the Month by Month Sticker Book for the dates and then I decorated with the Season Pass 2.0 – 2026 Winter/Spring - Rub-Ons. I love using the Rub-Ons for the calendar because it doesn’t add any extra bulk to my Monthly Calendar Traveler’s Notebook. Plus, they are super cute! I had written in my monthly calendar with my favorite erasable pens and created a quick color key in the “this month” section.

For the scrapbook and journaling page, I used the Season Pass 2.0 – 2026 Winter/Spring – Paper Pack for my background paper and added my printed journaling and photo grid to the pages. I do love using the Layle by Mail Lined Paper as a base for my pages so I can stamp. I used the new 2026 About Last Month Stamp Set for my title “Month in Review”. I’ll be using this stamp set every month this year – I love it so much!

To embellish the pages, I used a circle punch to cut out the numbers from one of the 3x4 cards in the 2026 Winter/Spring Season Pass Paper Pack. This way I could label my photos to correspond with the journaling on the opposite side of the page. I also used a few of the Season Pass 2.0 – 2026 Winter/Spring - Die Cuts to add some interest to the layout and finished the page off with one of the 6x4 cards.
