Habit Tracker | January 2025

Happy 2025!  A start of a new year means new goals for some, new areas of focus for others, and even new habits.

Six years ago, I started using a habit tacker to help focus on different habits I wanted to start or improve on for the new year.  I did it for about 6 months & then petered out :)

I started it up again for a few months in 2020... and then the same thing happened, I petered out after a few months.

As I've been thinking about the things I want to focus on for 2025, I decided to give a habit tracker a go again to help me focus & be successful.  It worked well for me back in 2019 and in 2020 when I did do it, so I figured why not start it up again :)

I started out with a Dot Grid Traveler's Notebook Insert; when I designed & released the Dot/Grid Insert 2 years ago, it was important to me that it was a standard, recognized 'square' size for bullet journalers - a 5mm dot grid, meaning each dot is spaced 5mm apart, allowing for flexible division of the page into squares or sections depending on your needs.

I used the brand new 2025 About Last Month Stamp Set - releasing January 15th! - to stamp the month.  I counted 31 squares, starting from the right edge & counting backwards & then added the date above each square with a fine tip Sharpie (my go to pen for everything I do!).  From there I added the habits I want to track for January and then used 6" steel ruler to create the boxes, using the grid as the guide.

Once I had the tracking portion set up, it was time to decorate!  I used die cuts, wordstrip stickers & stamps from the Winter/Spring Season Pass.

I used the snowflakes stamp from the Winter/Spring Season Pass kit, Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink & a round acrylic stamping block to create a border inside one of the boxes I drew.  I used a piece of cardstock to 'mask off' parts of the stamp so it stayed contained within the box :)

I'll continue to use the Season Pass kit throughout the year to create a habit tracker for each month!

The new Season Pass is a quarterly program/kit with exclusive products for memory keeping enthusiasts, including paper, die cuts, stickers & stamps.
