In the Envelope Mini Album | Design Team: Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with a fabulous crafty project using the new Layle By Mail stamps that were released in March! I used the awesome In The Envelope Stamp along with its coordinating metal die to create this little 3-D envelope mini album!

The cover of this album also features a new Currently Metal Die Set that coordinates with the ever popular Currently List Builder stamp set!  I die cut several of the word shapes and stacked them together before finishing with the last one stamped in cheery red!!

The In the Envelope Metal Die cuts an envelope with folding tabs so it can be attached to a journal page, creating a pocket to hold special mementos or notes. I created seven envelopes and adhered two together to make three double sided envelope pockets that are attached to the spine of the mini album. The extra envelope is the last pocket and is adhered to the tail end.

Each pocket holds a double sided card perfect for photos or journaling. I stamped the tiny tab from the new Tabs and Labels stamp set in bright colors and added small titles from the same List Builder set to both sides of the cards. The outsides of the envelopes are highlighted with more of the Tabs and Labels stamps along with the sentiment stamps from the In The Envelope set. You will also notice the small flower shape, aka the large asterisk, from the new Reggie lower case alphabet!

Using the same Simple Stories For The Record 6x8 papers, I cut smaller ledger cards and tags and attached them together with tiny brads so they rotate. A couple of these smaller cards also feature a small label or tab as well! The final touches were some small flowers and enamel dots from the same paper collection!
