Have Suitcase, Will Travel | Design Team: Tara Chaussee

Hello crafty friends! It’s Tara with Secretbees Studio and I have a super adorable mini album to share today!  This one is also made with the new and amazing Postcards & Passports collection but is more pint-sized and housed right inside of a mini suitcase!

I wanted the album to be part of the suitcase and not be removable so I decided on an accordion style. Using the travel words patterned paper, I cut two strips and attached them together for a total of 13.5 inch length. I then scored the pages at 2.5 inches with a margin between each page of .25 inch. I rounded all of the corners for a snug fit inside of the suitcase and attached the very back page into the suitcase using strong adhesive.

The nine pages of this little mini measure 2.5 inches wide by 3.75 inches long and feature a couple of frames, a flip page and even a pocket! Some of the pages are layered with additional patterns of paper and accented with the coordinating washi tape. The fun patterned papers of the collection are made even cuter with the addition of the fabulous die-cuts and sentiments of the collection!

For the final touches, I added colorful enamel dots in matching colors to some of the pages along with the tiny sentiment stickers. The sweet luggage tag was made by fussy cutting one of the small icons from patterned paper and layering it with a die-cut star. I can’t wait to fill this little mini album with some fun travel pictures for an amazing keepsake!
