Halloween Notebook | Design Team: Shellye McDaniel

Hello, Squirrels! Shellye McDaniel here and bringing an altered dollar store traveler’s notebook featuring the “October” portion of the newest Seasons Pass Collection!

The premade notebook came with a faux suede inner cover, so I used my sewing machine and a zig-zag stitch to add the fun patterned paper to the outer cover. Next, I used the Charlie Numbers Stamp Set and stamped the “No.31” to a rectangle of white cardstock. I embossed the paper and then added a piece of striped paper to the bottom and the cute die-cut to the top!

Two lined notebooks came strapped to the inside of the journal, so I covered those with a black cardstock and topped the fronts with a mat of patterned paper. To the middle of each notebook, I added smaller pieces of folded patterned paper, a vellum sheet, envelope and paper doily.

The “October” stamps from the Season Pass Stamp Set, as well as the rub-ons, were used to decorate the vellum pages and a couple of the lined notebook pages.
