Halloween “31” Traveler’s Notebook Layout | Design Team: Nikki Sher
Hello fellow Layle by Mail friends!
Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I’m always excited for another opportunity to document some of my favorite Halloween memories! For this traveler’s notebook layout, I mixed products from the 2026 Fall/Holiday Season Pass with a few pieces from the Moonlight Manor Collection to document a favorite Halloween memory with my mom.
I started my layout with one of my absolute favorite papers from the October portion of the Fall/Holiday Season Pass—the harlequin patterned paper! I love all of the little Halloween images tucked inside the diamonds, and with so many colors and patterns, it made the perfect background for my spread. I added strips of the orange star paper along each side and finished off the edges with the black spiderweb paper.
For the center of my layout, I pulled out the Large Die Cuts from the Moonlight Manor Collection and used the oversized pumpkins across both pages. I love how the pumpkins stretch almost the entire height of the spread and create a bold focal point without covering up too much of that fabulous harlequin paper. They also made the perfect backdrop for my photos!
On the left side, I layered two photos from our pumpkin carving along with several Halloween embellishments. I added the large “31” over the photos and layered a spiderweb and jack-o’-lantern underneath and around the numbers. I also added some Halloween word art rubons behind the photos for another little bit of detail.
On the right, I added a photo of our finished pumpkins along with my journaling. A few candy corn embellishments tucked around the photo were the perfect finishing touch and helped carry some of the smaller details from the patterned paper onto the rest of the page.
One of my favorite things about this layout is how easily the Fall/Holiday Season Pass and Moonlight Manor work together. Don’t be afraid to pull out pieces from your older Layle by Mail collections and mix them with your newest products—you might find the perfect combination! And seriously... can we talk about that harlequin paper one more time?! Definitely one of my favorites from the October Season Pass!
