Fun Fold Mini Album | Design Team: Shellye McDaniel

The NEW Season Pass has arrived! Shellye McDaniel here with a fun-fold Mini Album featuring the July|August|September Season Pass Collection.

To get started, I grabbed five 12X12 sheets of cardstock from my stash that coordinate with the collection’s colors. Next, I scored the cardstock pages in half both horizontally and vertically to create four 6X6 squares.

I made a cut to the score line between the top and bottom left squares, up to the middle intersection. To allow proper folding, I then made another cut about 1/8” above the first cut line and then trimmed that strip away.

Next I took the bottom right corner and folded it up so that the point “almost” met the intersection. Again, to allow for proper folding, you’ll want to fold this so that it sits slightly below all of the scored lines.

Following that, I took the top left corner and folded it about half-way to the intersection. I then glued the flaps in place and then folded the rest along the score lines:

Fold the bottom right corner up to the top right

Fold the bottom left corner over to the right (it will be to the back)

To adhere together, I applied glue just along the left edge of the backside of the front pocket (it will attach to the front of the second pocket tuck).

I moved on to creating four additional pages, but you can add as many pages as you’d like! To decorate the pages, I cut slightly smaller patterns of paper from the Season Pass Summer|Fall Collection, to cover two front pocket tucks.

The three pages to the backside of the pockets were also covered in papers and I used the left-over triangle pieces (from covering the pocket tucks) as a photo tuck for one of the corners.

I used die-cuts, rub-ons and the word-strip stickers from the collection, as well as the new “List Builder-Dividers” Stamps to dress up the side of the white tags!

Finally, I used my book binding tool and metal binder to hold the pages together. You can also make the album smaller by using 10X10, 8X8 or 6X6 papers for the base.
