Fresh Start Card | Design Team: Shellye McDaniel
Bring on the “Fresh Start”! Shellye McDaniel with you today with a sweet wintery card featuring pieces from the Season Pass Collection.
To start, I used an A2 white card base and cut a piece of teal cardstock to 4” X 5.25” and glued to the center. I cut a piece of the “striped paper” to 3.75” X 4.75” and added it to the center of the teal cardstock with foam adhesive.
Next, I grabbed a 3.25” and 3.75” circle die. The smaller die was used to cut out the “snowy ombré” paper and the larger die was used to cut out the “navy snowflake” paper. The smaller circle was layered to the center of the larger one with foam adhesive. The cluster of circles were then added to the center of the card base with foam adhesive.
Next, I fussy cut one of the snowy scenes from the patterned paper in the collection and added it to the center of the ombré circle with foam dots.
For the accents I brought out the die cut pack and rub-ons from the Seasons Pass 2.0|2026 Winter/Spring Collection Kit. I cut around the “bring on the” portion of the rub-on and added it to the “snowflake die cut label strip”. The strip was attached to the bottom of the fussy cut scene. Next, I applied the “fresh start” rub-on to a scrap piece of white cardstock and used a 1” circle punch to cut out. I added it to the end of the “bring on the…” sentiment with foam dots.
To finish up the card, I added a fabric bow to the top of the tree. Two of the small “navy snowflake rub-ons” were applied to the right of the snowman and another was applied to a small 1/2” white tag. I looped the cord of the tag around the top of the tree and secured the back of the tag with a foam dot. In finishing, hot pink gems were added to the snowflake centers.
