Favorite Christmas Movies | Design Team: Jessica Michaels
Hey everyone! Jessica here, and I have the first release of the new year in my happy little hands today! I’m still working on my December Daily album so I’m going to share this spread I created using the Dear December collection and the January 2026 Release!
I started this spread by grabbing one of the patterned papers from the Dear December collection and cutting it down to 10”x8.25” since I wanted to have a folded interactive page. I scored the page at 5” so it folded in half nicely. I then matted two of my photos for day 6 to use on the outside of the flap with some white cardstock and trimmed the flap down to fit my photos. I added a couple embellishments from Dear December and then flipped to the inside.
I wanted to do a list on this page using the rub-ons from the Documenting the Details rub-ons in the January release so I trimmed out the Top Five Moments and adhered to the top of my page using the white space of the patterned paper as my guide. These Rub-ons just glide right on like butter! Then I had a bit of a whoopsie moment where I realized I hate my handwriting just like I do every other time and covered it up with some white cardstock(cut with a die from my stash) to create a typed list. I typed up my journaling using the Canva app and then printed on clear mailing labels and trimmed down and applied to the white cardstock. I then added star stamps in green for each bullet point, the star is from the Dear December Postage stamp set. I embellished around my journaling and added my photo to the left from one of my bullet points! I added a tab to the right of my journaling with the tab and labels stamp and die set, along with a word phrase from the Dear December Wordstrip Stickers.
For the right side, I used the polka dot patterned paper from Dear December and then the striped paper to adhere little strips on either side. I then grabbed the Favorite/Current stamp set from the January release and stamped Favorite Movies at the top for day 7. I added 6 of our favorite movies that we watched on repeat all month long and added the right now rub-on from the January release at the bottom.
