Far & Wide Luggage Tags | Design Team: Shellye McDaniel
Pack your bags and let’s GO! Shellye McDaniel here today to share a project that evolved as I puttered around with the adorable Postage Builder-Travel Stamp Set, alcohol markers and button maker system.

I first stamped the images onto the grid paper from the Far and Wide 6X8 Paper Pad and then colored in with alcohol markers (you could also use other markers or colored pens/pencils). Next I grabbed the WeR Button Maker and cut out the images using the small and medium button sizes. I clipped off the “pin” portion from the backing and added a foam circle to create a Flair Button!

From my stash I chose to use a set of self-laminating tags that measure 2 3/8” X 3 3/4” (any type of luggage tag or laminate would work). I cut a pieces of paper from the 6X8 Paper Pad to match the colors in each of the flair buttons. To the bottoms of some tags I added strips of the Far and Wide Washi Tapes and then decorated the patterned paper pieces with Die-Cut Icons or Words & Phrases that coordinated with each button’s theme.

After sealing the laminate over the patterned paper I then decorated the tops of the tags with a flair button, more of the die-cuts and then added a wire keychain decorated with a bit of ribbon.

We love to camp, have a family vacation to Yellowstone this Summer and a cruise scheduled for November…these will be perfect to add to my project bag when go about on our travels :) This project would be fun for a girl’s night of crafting or as a gift to go along with a traveler’s notebook!
Thanks for joining me today!
