I am happy to be back on the blog to share with you another creative team project with you today featuring the Everyday Gratitude collection!
I started my project with a simple kraft cardstock base as I wanted to make good use of all the fun patterned papers in this collection. I trimmed down 1” squares from a 1” strip of paper from each paper I wanted to use to get started.
I added the 1” squares along each edge of the cardstock, leaving a small gap around them, and not worried about them being too lined up evenly. I like the whimsical, mis-aligned look – plus it is quicker and less fussy to do! Once I had all the squares added, I added a few quick rows of machine stitching to add a little dimension and texture.
Once I added my photo, I used stickers, rub ons and die cuts around my photo to embellish, always using foam adhesive to help them pop. I love a simple cluster and mixing these fun LBM elements is easy to do!
I added a bold black stamped title using the Charlie Alpha to finish the project off!
