Hey everyone, Jessica here! I'm working in my 52 Favorites album today — a fun little mini travel notebook where I pick one favorite photo for each week of the year. These two weeks were hard to narrow down to just one shot each! If you want to see how I made this notebook, I have a full video on my YouTube channel.
For Week 29, I grabbed the green notebook paper from the Far and Wide 6x8 paper pad and cut it down to 4x6 to fit my mini. I rounded the corners on my waterfall photo to give it a little pop, then layered a large rub-on embellishment underneath it — that travel icon really anchors the whole page. From there I filled in with stickers and die cuts from the collection, and honestly the icons in this release are perfect for a travel theme.
For Week 30, I used a photo of my baby girl from our beach vacation and stamped a large phrase from the Far and Wide Say It stamp set right above her photo. I cut a scallop border using a die from my stash and the blue paper from the pad, then laid everything onto the yellow and white striped paper — that color combo is so cheerful. I pulled a red label from the sticker sheet, stamped my date on it, then added a sticker postage stamp and stamped right over the top of both for that authentic postage look.
Both pages came together in about 20 minutes total — I just love how quick and satisfying this little project is! The Far and Wide collection is still available in the Layle by Mail shop, so head on over and grab all the goodies while you can!
