Documenting our Travels in an A6 Traveler's Notebook

My husband & I love to travel.  A lot.  It's always been a part of our lives, our careers and our marriage.  When the pandemic hit, along with many other things in the world, our travels came to a screeching halt.

In the fall of 2020 we took a road trip to Bryce National Park in Southern Utah.  We stayed in a small cabin and kept to ourselves; that was our way of getting away while still being safe.

During the spring of 2021 we took another road trip, this time to Zion National Park in Southern Utah.  As with our fall trip, we stayed in a small cabin and kept to ourselves.

It was about that time that we started talking about taking more road trips and visiting more national parks.  We started doing some research on different RVs and in October of last year we purchased a small RV that we nicknamed Harvey :)

We took our first road trip in Harvey late December to Pasadena to watch the University of Utah (where we both went to college) play in the Rose Bowl.  It was an exciting trip.... AND football game!

It's no secret that I am a memory keeper and that I love Traveler's Notebooks :)  I started a brand new Traveler's Notebook on that trip to document our travels in Harvey.

Rather than using a standard size Travelers's Notebook that I always use, I decided to use a smaller, A6 Traveler's Notebook (fits inserts up to 4x6).

I pulled out my Silhouette & customized the cover with an RV SVG file I purchased on Etsy and some white vinyl..

What prompted me to go with the A6 size?  The line of Letterfolk Passport Collection inserts.  I ran across these a few years ago & recently brought them into my store.

There's a wide selection of topics in the collection, ranging from travel related themes like Road Trip, Trip, National Park, State and Country to others like Wine, Books, Hiking, Bucket List and more.

They're the perfect little size to capture all the basics for a particular theme; take the Road Trip insert, for example.

The insert has two pages for each trip; one page with pertinent information to document about the trip and the other blank, leaving room for a sketch, photo or memorabilia.

Each of the different themed Letterfolk Passport Inserts has a similar look and feel, making it so easy to document your trips, concerts, hikes, visits to the most magical place on earth and more!

I can't wait until we hit the road again this spring and to continue documenting our travels!
