Favorite Supplies for Memory Planning | Design Team: Rachel Newman
Hi! I’m Rachel, aka @thelifefacilitator, and I want to share supplies that I grab over and over when I’m memory keeping.

There are so many ways to memory keep and sometimes, that can feel overwhelming. When I start to overthink it, I scale back my process and focus on enjoying the practice with a few simple supplies. For January, I decided to do a “Top 5” memories for the month using the Grateful Standard Wide Insert. To make my title, I combined a January sticker from the Month by Month Sticker Book, stamp from the 2026 About Last Month - 6x8 Stamp Set and rub-on from the Documenting the Details Rub-Ons. I used a colored pencil to add a hint of color to the January sticker.

I wanted to created a repeating element with the numbers, so I stamp an ink splatter from the Textures Ink Splatters, with alternating colors behind the stamped number from the 2026 About Last Month - 6x8 Stamp Set . To create some visual interest, I changed the placement of the number on the page, always directly next to the photo. I don’t want this notebook to get too “fluffy,” so I opted for rub-ons and stamps to keep the bulk down. Did you know that you can transfer rub-ons onto photos? Here, I placed the rub-on from the Documenting the Details Rub-Ons directly onto to the 2nd photo.

The rub-ons and sentiments from the Glimmers 2 4x6 Stamp Set filled helped tell my stories. They filled the white space like perfect puzzle pieces, wouldn’t you agree? Lastly I used colored pencils for pops of color around the rub-on’s and stamped sentiments. Have you documented your Top Memories from January yet? If not, give it a try and with these supplies, and enjoy the process!
