Favorites at 50 | Design Team: Junell Kruzell
Hello everyone! It’s Junell on the blog today. I thought it would be fun to share my favorites now that I’ve hit this milestone birthday!

I started right off the bat by adding the photo to the top of white cardstock. I made it black and white because I knew the rest of the page would be colorful. And I wanted the fact that I was fifty to be prominent so I used the bold Reggie Alphabet stamp set to accomplish that.
From there, I stamped out the word grid with the words on a separate sheet of white cardstock. I cut them into rectangles so I could move them around on the page to see what arrangement I liked. I did have to cut off the icons because they did not fit properly on my page. I saved them to use later.
Once I had the arrangement I liked, I typed up my journaling using Canva, printed that on clear, matte sticker paper and then adhered everything down.

To add some detail to the bottom, I added a rub-on from the Documenting the Details transfer sheet. I also ran a half inch strip of pink paper along the bottom which is from the Season Pass 2.0 kit.

To balance the color out at the top of the page, I added some more of that pink patterned paper. I then took the icons and decided to fussy cut them out and run them in a line at the bottom of the pink paper. This also balances out the rub-on at the bottom. I thought about coloring them in, but did not because I didn’t want it to compete with the colors of the stamped words.
