December Daily - Day 10
Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2022 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit) and the finished pages along with the supplies I used.
Day 10 - building a gingerbread mansion & a fib ;)
We had our son & his girlfriend over for dinner & then set them loose building a gingerbread 'mansion' I picked up from Costco.
Sssssshhhhh.... Don't tell, but I fibbed on this page! This actually happened on the 11th and not the 10th! I had two different things I wanted to document for the 11th, so I just moved one of them to the 10th.
And that is A-OK! You have all the permission you need to document things on different days than they happened. No one will know... and if they do know, they certainly won't care.

For the 10th I created an interactive element - a door with a latch and a lock. The door is the red piece, the latch is the buffalo check piece and the lock is the 3x4 card. The latch slides out from under the look so the door can be opened. This is one of the many interactive techniques I typically include in my mini book project kits; it's a fun one!
I added some Stickles to Santa and then adhered two glitter stars between the 'latch'.
When you open the door you have more room for photos & journaling.
And room for another photo on the back of the page...
