December Daily - Day 24
Day 24 & my early Christmas present.
It's what I ask for, every year. If it happens on Christmas Eve day, even better.
A family outing, to go snowshoeing. We bought snowshoes for the 4 of us on Christmas 7 or 8 years ago. We live at the base of the mountains, so we can pretty much drive 15-20 minutes and have many snow showing options at our disposal.
A double page spread for the 24th; it called for BIG photos!
Used one of my favorite clipboard stamps for the journaling on the left page.
I added a full size, clear transparency over the top of the photo on the right, then added silver glitter snowflakes to the top.
When we got home and saw a few of the photos, we had to chuckle... It looks like my husband and I were in a photo studio with a fake snow forest backdrop behind us! Ha ha!
Another full size photo on the next spread, this time with the 4 of us, selfie style.
I completely forgot to bring a small tripod so we could get pics of the 4 of us. At one point our younger son Sam was attempting to 'macgyver' the phone to a tree with a face mask, in place of having a tripod!
