Day 22 & the storm that ruined our plans.
My husband and I had made plans to head up to Park City to do an activity called the Snow Globe Stroll. Initially we were going to do it the day before, but decided to go the next day instead.
We've had a super mild winter.... until the 22nd. The day we had planned to walk up and down Main Street in Park City. And it was cold. And snowing. And the wind was blowing. Which made it even colder!
So we drove up Main Street and then drove back home!
For the left side of the spread I used a greeting card that I picked up a few years ago. It's been in my December Daily stash of products since then, waiting for the perfect day to be used :)
The silver glitter circles are part of the card - so fun! I used a white gel pen to outline the card & added the gold '22' numbers and the holly sticker.
For the left page I printed a photo of my favorite thing to see when we go to Park City - the barn. I grew up in Park City, so it always holds a special place in my heart. It was especially pretty in the snowstorm.
I used a free app on my phone called Weathershot to add the overlay to the photo, and then printed the photo out and added it as the right page.
It's one of my favorite apps to use every year in my December Daily project :) It pulls the location where you are from your phone and adds the date, time, temperature, forecast, etc. They have a bunch of different overlays/templates to use and it's available for both Apple & Android devices.
I did some journaling on the back of the photo adding a few stickers. I added some Stickers over the top of the 'let it snow' sticker to brighten it up a bit.
