December Daily - Day 13
Day 13 and the story of the making spirits bright - literally 'making' in the kitchen ;)
Our oldest son is home unexpectedly for the holidays. He's a chef in Washington state; they've gone back to level 1 with Covid, so the restaurant where he works is closed until at least after the first of the year. So he's home! And of course, since he's home, we put him to work cooking for us :)
A little journaling on the right side, including what he cooked up for dinner.
The 'happy holidays' card is scored on the left, is adhered to the top of the pocket page & opens from the right.
Same thing with the Santa card; it's scored along the right, adhered to the top of the pocket page again & opens from the left.
The 'making spirits bright' card is inside of the pocket page. He was literally making 'spirits' bright - he made Bacon Whiskey Pork Roast. At one point he lit the sauce on fire to flambe it. It was soooo tasty!
