December Daily - Day 3

Hip hip hooray, it's here!  So excited to jump into December Daily this year.  Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month) and the finished pages along with the supplies I used.  

I have a few Document Your December kits available here; the kits include what I used to create the BASE of project (ie the foundation pages BEFORE I start documenting each day this month).  As always, the Layle By Mail kits include everything you need to create the project, along with color step-by-step instructions :)

Day 3 - 

Yesterday a friend and I went to a local art market here in Salt Lake - the JeniBee Winter Market.  The JeniBee market a wonderful market put on 4-5 times a year by two sisters with over 100 booths with handmade items.  It's always a feast for the eyes & senses and yesterday was no exception!

I tucked a postcard advertising the event in the pocket page - it's pink and worked so well with my foundation page.  I wanted to spice up the wreath a bit, so I added some gold dots.  The just so happen to be the 'berries' from the holly stickers in the gold Thickers included in my Document Your December kit :)  I adhered them right to to the top of the pocket page.

The baking theme I had on the foundation page didn't work with what I wanted to do, so I took those things off & switched out the 3x4 card for a journaling card.  That is A-OK!  If you've done foundation pages and find that what you put together for that day isn't working for you, change it.  No need to struggle and make it work.

I printed two 5x7 photos from the market, adhered them back to back, punched holes & then inserted in the album.  That's a super easy way to add additional photos to your books!

Remember the 'BAKING' gold stickers that I ended up not using on this page, you'll see them make an appearance again in a few days... with a twist :)
